There are 3 upcoming commitments for Michigan: wide receiver- Xavier Worthy, defensive end- Quintin Somerville, and the last is 4 star tackle- Garrett Dellinger. I’m going to give you the “scoop” on each recruitment.
Xavier Worthy (Wide Receiver)
Commitment Date: June 27th
Prediction: Oregon
I still believe Oregon is the team to beat, but I did some fact checking and he has never been to Oregon. So if Michigan can get him on campus, I actually do think there is a chance that Michigan flips him from Oregon.
Quintin Somerville (Defensive End)
Commitment Date: June 20th
Prediction: Michigan
I really like where Michigan stands here; I believe he is actually silently committed. I see him as a 3-4 year contributor at Michigan. He was ranked really high last year, but he spent a lot of time at tackle so he fell a lot. He is still a top 150 prospect because there is a lot of raw potential with him. The only real concern is his height; I would call him a generous 6-3.
Garrett Dellinger (Tackle)
Commitment date: June 24th
Prediction:LSU
I think that Michigan was actually gaining ground here, but the early commitment day hurt them. I don’t expect them to stop recruiting him, but I don’t expect them to go all out and flip him as O Line numbers are getting tight.
